our Story
Founded in Brooklyn, Kenneth & Noelle is a design collective rooted in the complementary partnership of Dylan Roberts and Kaelee Helms, who met as graduate students at Pratt Institute. Their practice investigates the relationship between people and the built environment - in pursuit of creating healthy spaces designed to enhance human experience. With a background spanning both business and design, Dylan’s process balances aesthetic precision with practical logic, crafting spaces with thoughtful organization and meticulous consideration of proportion, scale and symmetry.
Kaelee’s practice stems from a background in oil painting and centers on translating two-dimensional composition into functional space, exploring how form, material, and color can evoke emotional and spatial resonance. Together, their work unfolds as a dialogue between analytical rigor and creative intuition. The tension between their distinct perspectives shapes a balanced, nuanced approach to every project. Kenneth & Noelle pushes the imperative of healthy design, emphasizing the intersection between mental and physical health within the interior.

Story
Founded in Brooklyn, NY, Kenneth & Noelle is a research and design collective rooted in the pursuit of balance and wellness within the built environment. Led by Dylan Roberts and Kaelee Helms—who met on their first day of graduate school at Pratt Institute in 2019—the collective explores the subtle relationships between structure, perception, and human well-being.
Dylan’s work is informed by a passion for business frameworks, organizational systems, and building techniques, examining how underlying structures shape lived experience. Kaelee’s practice stems from a background in oil painting and centers on translating two-dimensional art into functional objects, exploring how form, material, and surface can evoke emotional and spatial resonance. Together, their work unfolds as a dialogue between analytical rigor and creative intuition.
Kenneth & Noelle is grounded in an ongoing inquiry into physical, mental, and environmental wellness. Through material research, spatial studies, and applied experimentation, the collective investigates how everyday environments can support mental clarity, physical comfort, and long-term health.
